A dedicated group of team members, representing various facets of our business, gathered to celebrate this pivotal moment. Their presence underscored CLEAN’s dedication to its people, who are at the heart of everything we do. We were honoured to have with us:

• Mandy Haynes, Production Key Operative – Our longest-serving colleague at Nottingham, having been with CLEAN since 25th September 1995.
• Carl Haynes, Mandy’s son and Transport Manager, highlights our workforce's multi-generational strength. Carl joined CLEAN on 21 April 2007.
• Troy Faulkner, Site Director – A returning member to the team, bringing his leadership and vision to our Nottingham operation from 24th April 2024.
• Naijo John, Production Operative – A valued team member since 18th January 2023, contributing significantly to our production excellence.
• Peter Hallam-Purser, Driver (Category C) and CEF Rep for Transport – Supporting our vital transport operations since 28th March 2022.

Elevating Our Service for You, Our Customers

This new site is a testament to our continued growth and, most importantly, our unwavering dedication to serving our customers with the outstanding laundry and textile services they have come to expect from CLEAN. This expansion will significantly enhance our operational capabilities, allowing us to meet and exceed customer needs with greater efficiency and reliability. It also reinforces our deep-seated commitment to sustainability and operational excellence, which ultimately translates into better value and service for our customers.

Focusing on Efficiency and Sustainability

Efficiency is a cornerstone of this new development. Our project team is meticulously working on the final designs for advanced water and energy recovery systems. We aim to leverage our extensive experience to develop our most energy-efficient laundry facility. The roof will be fitted with PV panels to generate our own electricity, significantly reducing our carbon footprint.

Future-Focused Innovations

Looking ahead, we are also exploring upcoming technologies such as EV commercial vehicles and hydrogen co-firing options for the steam plant. While these technologies might be beyond the immediate horizon of the Nottingham opening date, we are proactively including preparatory work in the current build. This foresight will make them viable options for integration in the future, ensuring our Nottingham site remains at the forefront of industry innovation.

This event begins an exciting journey as we expand our presence in Nottingham. We are eager to enhance our ability to serve our customers and reinforce our commitment to sustainable and excellent operations.
